I really should update this thing more often. Not that anyone reads it, but... I just feel that I should.

Cute thing -
Dad: I'm glad I'm not Indian.
Me: (non-committal 'hmm')
Dad: Because some Indians just came in, and the first thing I thought was, 'Damn Indians!'
Me: (non-committal 'hmm')
Dad: And actually, they turned out to be quite pleasant. It's just so many other Indians who mess it up by being rude.
Me: (sort of grunting noise)
Dad: I suppose maybe a lot of Australians are like that and I just don't notice...
Awww! And that night he told us about an Aboriginal group of people who hijacked a radio station and played a song on a loop because some white people had told them it was too offensive (something about 'hey, you stole our land, stop taking the moral high ground'): "How can I be a good racist if I'm on THEIR side?"

Sad thing -
Just before New Year's I managed to lose my favourite anklet and necklace! :( I've been looking around for them but I think they're gone. That sucks. My girlfriend liked the anklet and SO DID I.

Uni offers come out either tomorrow, or the next day, and I'm terrified I won't get in to the course I've been wanting. I mean, I'm already half-sorting out accommodation in Big City (where the uni is) so.... !!! Worry!
