Huh. These are, dare I say it, GOALS? for the next year. (My fifteen-year-old self is killing me.) Except they're not actually goals, they're just thingies I have to do. Some are thingies that I need to start doing, some are simple tasks that'll happen at some point in the year, what the hell whatever just read the list if you feel like it.

1. Send in my electoral enrolment thingy.
2. Learn more about issues: re Aboriginal communities, the history of the Aboriginal rights movement etc etc (it was only this year I realised JUST HOW IGNORANT I am about all of it - it's so foreign to me, being butt-white Aussie, and I rarely have seen it properly covered in any place I'd just come across.)
3. GETTING A FULL-TIME JOB.
4. Figuring out the exact requirements I need to meet to get the most government assistance possible (believe me, the year after I'm going to need it.)
5. And on that note, saving the money from said job - I'll need more than the $200 savings I have now (which are going to get eaten up today with Christmas shopping.)
6. Start learning how to, you know, cook.
7. And be a little more conscientious about consumption of OTHER goods.
8. I really should DO something. Volunteer work, somewhere. Like everything else, I have no specifics figured out.
9. Activism 'n' shit.
