The Post-Rapture Post

Chomp.

i don't believe in karma; in heaven; in fate; in souls; or in god.
i do believe in rationality; that our world is wrong; that beings should be equal, not separarate; and in you

fraaaaaaaar. The most productive thing I've done this evening is compiled a track list of songs that are somehow related to travel. (if I felt like it, I'd actually go through and find songs that are about travel in some way - but instead, I've just basically found ones that have 'travel' or 'car' in the title. HAHA I IS SNEAKSY!) Am I travelling anywhere soon? Nope. just felt like it!
So!

THE LIST

On the Bus Mall - The Decemberists (purely because it's got the word 'bus' in the title)
Mr Ambulance Driver - The Flaming Lips
Drive You Home - Garbage
Gotta Travel On - Bob Dylan
How's My Driving, Doug Hastings? - Less Than Jake
Side of the Road - Beck
Route 66 - Depeche Mode
Drive My Car - The Beatles
Helicopter - Pedro the Lion (Yes. I listen to Christian music. So sue me. That, or laugh at me.)
Passenger Seat - Death Cab For Cutie (um. this is one of the very few songs on this list that is actually about transportation. heh.)
Leaving on a Jet Plane - Fiona Apple
Road Signs and Rock Stars - The Ataris
Trailer Park Jesus - Glassjaw (um... there are caravans in trailer parks?)
Subterranian Homesick Alien - Radiohead
Sailing - Joan Baez
Pink Cadillac - Aretha Franklin
Young Pilgrims - The Shins (dude. pil grimz.)
Magic Bus - The Who

THE ANTI-LIST
Runaway - The Corrs (it does not go on the list seeing as how it is so very annoying a song.)
She'll Drive the Big Car - David Bowie (it does not go on my list because I don't like it. So ha.)
Fascination Street - The Cure (because I'll admit I'm pushing it here, but that's pushing it just a little far)

... oh, my God.
I never before realised how... bad... um. You know, just because some of those songs are there does not mean I listen to them! DON'T JUDGE ME! *flails and disintegrates into heap of tool-ness*

K, I got nothing else, so I'm shutting up.
